Week in Review 6/29-7/3

July 3, 2009

It’s been a busy week here, Design AND writing-wise. Sadly, a chunk of it won’t be appearing for a few more weeks, but a portion of it is available now, so let’s start with the usual:

Cavalcade of Schlock

Published 3 articles this week:
First-up was a write-up for the Howling VII live event originally scheduled for July 3rd, but bumped to July 10th.

Next up was the write-up for the Movie that took its place, Tokyo Gore Police:

Finally, the archival review of Halloween (1978) from our 8th Cavalcade Event:

But the real work for the Cavalcade has been in the continued redesign of the website, which is now more template driven, allowing for new content to be added more rapidly-AND load much faster. The site is now down right….breezy to load.

Express

Next up, my review of the Night at The Museum Video Game adaptation was published in Thursdays edition of the paper, in the Weekend Pass section. It can be found in the July 2nd print edition here:

I’ll be adding a snippet of the article to the portfolio shortly, along with updated images of the Cavalcade redesign.
