The “Blurb” about Micah

Micah Pearson is an IT Proffessional/Writer living in
the Washington D.C. metro area. After publishing his
first book, the whimsically titled Unauthorizaed
Autobiography of Micah P. Pearson or How I
Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Sheep

(winner of iUniverse’s Editor’s Choice award), he spent
some time developing his as-yet unfinished follow-up.
In the meantime, he spends his days providing IT
Support and writing for the Washington Post Express
daily newspaper, and contributing essays and feature reviews for the Cavalcade of Schlock film group. Most recently, Micah accepted a position as a freelance writer for USA Weekend, a national publication distributed through more than 600 newspapers in the United States.

About the Site

Taking it’s name from the proposed title of Micah’s second book, Subway Jockeys and other Tales from the Metro, This site is intended to be the central resource for following Micah’s writing work, as well as serve as the working resume. There will be project portfolios, writing samples, and links to his online contributions. In addition, original materials not appearing anywhere else will also be posted here, because sometimes it just needs a home. Finally, as the site develops, there will be archived portfolios of Micah’s retired projects.
